LIQUIDWAVE · Beta

LIQUIDWAVE for Windows & Linux

LIQUIDWAVE for Windows and Linux is in beta. It is the Mac download's app on your PC: the same 60+ scenes, System Audio, Listen Mode and Ambient Auto, the Gallery and playlists, Scene Recording and Desktop Mode. Mix Shuffle stays on the Mac, where it runs on Apple Intelligence.

The free tier works without a code, as on the Mac: Wave, plus one more scene you pick the first time you open the app, with no time limit.

Install on Windows

  1. Open LIQUIDWAVE-win-Setup.exe from your downloads.
  2. LIQUIDWAVE installs for your account, without administrator rights, and opens. It's in the Start menu and on the desktop from then on.

While in beta the installer isn't signed yet, so Windows may say “Windows protected your PC” first. Click More info, then Run anyway.

To remove it, use Settings → Apps.

Install on Linux

  1. Right-click LIQUIDWAVE.AppImage → Properties and allow it to run as a program (or chmod +x LIQUIDWAVE.AppImage).
  2. Double-click it to open LIQUIDWAVE.

Nothing else to install: one file runs on Ubuntu 22.04, Fedora 36 and other distributions from 2022 on. To remove it, delete the file.

Scene Recording uses your system's video codecs. If the record button doesn't appear, install your distribution's multimedia codecs (on Ubuntu, sudo apt install ubuntu-restricted-extras). Desktop Mode needs an X11 session.

Updates

Both builds update themselves. When a new beta is out, LIQUIDWAVE downloads it in the background and offers Restart to Update. To look for one yourself, click Check for Updates… in Settings → About.

Get a beta code

Leave your email and we'll send you a code for Full Unlock (every scene and every style) as thanks for testing. Codes are sent by hand, so allow a day or two.

Used only to send your code and beta news. Never shared or sold.

Using the code

  1. In LIQUIDWAVE, open the unlock screen (choose a locked scene, or go to Settings → Purchases) and click Buy a license.
  2. The checkout opens in your browser. Enter your code as a discount code there; it covers the whole price.
  3. The license key arrives by email. Paste it into the License key field on the unlock screen (or Settings → Purchases → Enter license key…) and click Activate.

One key works on up to two computers, whether Mac, Windows or Linux. Deactivate this PC (on a Mac, Deactivate this Mac), in Settings, frees one for the next.
